Eyebrow Threading & dee-ja-vu

I missed my 11.30am appointment today for eye-brow threading at Selegie Rd.
Missed it on purpose cos i don't know where Selegie Rd is. It's near Little India mrt but it was such a hassle to find the shop and the weather was very very humid.
So after dropping by Sim Lim Square to get DVD-R x 8 for Celby, i decided to drop by Tekka Mall in search for a beauty salon. Most of the shops were either closed or vacant. Floors after floors i searched. Was about to give up on the 4th floor when i spotted a beauty saloon on the 6th floor. Walked in and enquire for eye-brow threading service which they charge for $6. Reasonable price. I was then ushured into a room where a lady was waiting with a thread in her mouth and both hands.

Threading is a unique method of eye brow shaping. It is a thread twisted in between two hands with the one end in the mouth. An action that collects the thread and wounds around the thread and the hair is removed with this action. You can remove one hair at a time and you can remove several hairs at a time. Since it gives liberty to remove only that hair which you want it gives advantage over waxing where you have got very little control.

Back to where i was, today was my first time experiencing eye brow threading. I have been wanting to have my eye brow threaded when i was studying in KL but never did cos i got feedback from friends that it hurts and the service was only so-so. But well, i haven't been shaping my eye brow for the past 1 or 2 months and i guess i have been too lazy to bother. And i wan't to re-shape my eye brow again and want to give threading a try. It hurts. Yes. It's the same pain as you get with Hot Wax but the result is perfect. The service was great. And needless to say, i am very satisfied and happy cos i got the shape i have always wanted which other salon can't provide nor meet my requirement. The bonus of eye brow threading is the effect which normally last for 21 days to a month which normal eye brow shaping through plucking won't normally last for that long. I will definitely go back for it :)

Owh....as i step out of the salon, i experienced dee-ja-vu...it was freaky! It always happen to me. I remembered i dreamt of the part the moment i stepped out of the salon as i was facing the escalator. I have the tendency of experiencing the same thing as i dream of. It's like....a dream come true......
